Cader Idris – Because of its unique formation
and majestic setting.

Table Mountain in Cape Town
5. Greatest mountain challenge I encountered:
Preseli, mainly because of the inclement weather,
which tested my endurance. Also helped strengthen team spirit.
6. Where I would like to go in the world?
Ayers Rock and I would like to walk the whole
of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.
7. Where I have been and would recommend to members:
Aberporth coastal path. It is a gentle walk,
ideal for all capabilities.
8. First time up Snowdon (year and age and with who).

9. What does the future of walking mean to me?
As well as appreciating the landscapes, it keeps
me fit and healthy as I grow older. I hope to continue until well into
retirement age.
10. And finally, if you could go walking with anybody who would
it be?
Ian Botham. I admire what he has done to raise
money for the Children’s Hospital in Wales and because he is quite
a hunk!
