2. First mountain(s) climbed?
Pen Pica and Pumlumon age six with Andrew and Robert Bee 1976.

3. Favourite mountain(climbed) and why?
Carnedd Dafydd-so many routes up from so many directions.In one of my favourite valleys in North Wales and obviously the name does it as well!

4. Favourite mountain (unclimbed yet)?
Matterhorn- will I ever get round to doing it?

5. Greatest mountain challenge encountered?
A day during walking along Offa’s Dyke. Food poisoning, violently vomiting and very tired (and scared).This day was day 4 of the walk and we were all suffering to a degree(no alcohol was involved I can assure you).By the time we had got to Montgomery, we received a hero’s welcome and were given the freedom of a pub-we went straight to bed.

6. Where you would like to go in the world?
Probably the summit of Everest(in my dreams.)Realistically , I would love to go to Antarctica with Frances and Catrin and cuddle up with some big-bellied Emperor or King penguins-ahhhhhhhhhhhh!

7. Where I have been and would recommend to members?
Tatras Mountains in Poland.

8. First time up Snowdon (year and age and with who)?
1978/ age 8/ again with Andrew and Robert Bee

9. What does the future of walking mean to you?
Sharing my experiences with family and friends and leading walks for Clwb Cerdded Crwydro Caron for as long as they want me to. Plus of course climbing Mount Ararat in 2006 and having a look at the Matterhorn in 2007 (please Frances).

Frances and Catrin!
